Main Tasks:
- Sales Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
o Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in China and rest of Asia.
o Work closely with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence:
o Monitor and record market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
o Work with Business Analyst to analyze supply and demand dynamics to develop and implement pricing strategies and sales tactics.
o Customer Relationship Management:
o Act as key account manager to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
o Act as primary point of contact for customer inquiries, negotiations, and issue resolution.
o Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Sales Execution:
o Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
o Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistic teams to ensure timely loading and delivery to customers.
o Work with supply chain and logistics team to optimize utilization of vessel chartering.
- Pricing and Contract Management:
o Set pricing strategies based on market conditions, production costs, and company objectives.
o Negotiate contracts with customers, ensuring terms are favorable and compliant with company policies.
o Monitor contract performance and manage any changes or renewals as needed.
- Forecasting and Reporting:
o Develop accurate sales forecasts based on market analysis and customer demand.
o Work together with supply chain on OMP to deliver accurate planning of Aromatics & Heavie balance.
o Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, including insights on market trends and sales performance.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company and relevant industry regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and/or tariffs that may impact the sale or distribution of Aromatics & Heavie domestically/internationally.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or procurement of commodity chemicals or other relevant industry.
- Fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin
- Strong sales skills, coordination skills, communication skills and analytical skills.
- Knowledge in chemicals and commodity industry is a plus
- Knowledge and proficiency in PC software application (e.g. excel / power point)
