Calgary, AB (Hybrid - 3 days in the office) 13-month Contract

We are looking for a InVigor Brand and Communications Lead to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Calgary, AB.

We help farmers deliver the best possible outcomes, working to achieve the balance between economic, environmental and social value creation for sustainable and efficient agriculture.

This position combines the Customer Experience role and the Associate Brand Manager into the InVigor Brand and Communications Lead. They have the responsibility for developing and executing fully integrated engagement plans for target grower segments and retails to ensure that we have the right content, going to the right customer at the right time.

As a InVigor Brand and Communications Lead, you create chemistry by...

  • Partnering with the InVigor marketing team, especially InVigor Marketing Manager and InVigor Brand Manager, to assist in the development of annual InVigor strategy and ensure the engagement and communications plan is aligned.
  • Designing, building and executing customer engagement plans for target InVigor customer segments (grower, retail and influencer) to deliver an exceptional customer experience in collaboration with marketing and sales.
  • Being responsible for the timely execution to be in market from start to finish all tactics and creative assets to support demand creation from the Agency for InVigor hybrid canola.
  • Managing the ASP budget for InVigor to ensure the funds are used for maximum effectiveness and customer awareness.
  • Interfacing with key management in the US as well as some global functions to drive strategic measures across the brand, ensuring successful outcomes tied to business goals as well as increased recognition and awareness of the InVigor brand.
  • Leveraging market research to build in depth knowledge of our canola customers segments, focus on interaction preferences and the sources of information they trust to make decisions on the farm.

If you have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Communications, Marketing or Business.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a Marketing/Communications or a related field.
  • Agriculture experience engaging with customers (3 years or more) is required.
  • Experience in the Agriculture industry, working with and understanding growers and retail customers.
  • Experience working on a high-performance team and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Project Management Experience, Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral & written)
  • An ability to foster innovation and embrace and implement change, while working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
