As a Control Systems Technician II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing hardware/software associated with various controls systems (DCS/SIS/PLC).
As a Control Systems Technician II, you create chemistry by...
• Supporting area maintenance control system configuration and advanced troubleshooting, including software and hardware.
• Implementing lifecycle strategies, status checks and diagnostics for installed controls systems.
• Maintaining spare parts inventory
• Providing functional specification review, control system configuration and participates in factory acceptance testing on capital projects.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Operations for Front End Loading on capital projects.
• Maintaining equipment files and up to date drawings, including P&IDs, loop drawings, etc.
• Responding to after hours calls for Control System troubleshooting
If you...
Required:
• 2 year I/E or Operations degree with 2 years field experience OR 5+ years I/E or Operations field experience
Preferred:
• 5+ years I/E or Operations field experience with related 2 year degree.
• Are familiar with industrial plant instrumentation and associated wiring.
• Have the ability to diagnose/trouble shoot electronics and/or software issues.
• Have experience with industrial plant operations and control concepts.
• Are able to work in a team environment.
