Objectives
- As the Team Lead for the Vitamins & Carotenoids (V&C) Animal Nutrition feed additive business in the ASEAN region, coach and mentor the team to build strong customer relationships while ensuring commercial success.
- Responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Vitamins & Carotenoids (V&C) Animal Nutrition feed additive business in ASEAN that includes Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in sales forecasting for ASEAN. Collect and share relevant market information.
- Ensure compliance with standard sales processes and support execution throughout the ASEAN region.
- Guide the team in implementing strategy in ASEAN, in line with organizational direction.
Sales Management
- Optimize sales turnovers in line with business strategy, improve profitability, and identify areas for improvement by analyzing and benchmarking the regional business internally and externally, steering the business team, assessing new opportunities, establishing key account concepts, and recommending exiting from unprofitable businesses.
- Direct the development and maintenance of operational forecasts regarding volumes, market share, financial requirements, and human resources needs, and monitor projected effects.
- Drive Sales Excellence by effective usage of tools and communication channels.
- Define market concepts, including market segments and opportunities, and customer portfolio in alignment with the Regional Head of Sales.
- Work with Technical Manager, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality Management, and Logistics teams to establish a transparent and effective communication path to customers.
Customer Management
- Develop key customer relationships with strategic accounts and assure a meaningful contact matrix in the organization.
- Manage the distribution network in the ASEAN region. Apply customer segmentation and drive Customer Experience by effective usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Execute (Regional) Key Account Management role in the area.
- Drive and supervise regular market mapping activities to understand the market and competition landscape and define market concept execution in alignment with the Regional Head of Sales.
People Management
- Provide skills and expertise to enhance the performance of the sales team by coaching, as well as providing exposure and development opportunities so that they can carry out the necessary sales strategies and tactics.
- Support employee development in the team by participating in employee recruitment, training, and development.
Qualifications
- University graduate in relevant subject. A degree in Business, Chemical or Nutrition will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales in the Commercialized Material sector in a corporate environment, feed industry experience is of advantage.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen, acting with entrepreneurial drive to optimize profit.
- Strong team leadership and communication skills.
- Professional in MS Office and CRM, Sales Force.
