We are looking for a Logistics Specialist - TPC to join our Petrochemicals (CP) team in Port Arthur, TX.

As a Logistics Specialist – TPC in the Production Planning Department, you will perform reporting and analysis of plant feedstocks and products as part of the monthly BTP billing process. You will work with other logistics specialists in the department as well as commercial representatives to ensure effective short-term and long-term feedstock purchases and product sales.

As a Logistics Specialist - TPC (Port Arthur, TX), you create chemistry by...

  • Providing efficient and timely collection, analysis, and reporting of the feedstock and product inventory information to affected customers.
  • Collaborating with the Production Specialist, Logistics Specialist, Business Controllers, JV and 3P customers to complete the BTP estimate billing and month-end closing reports.
  • Liaising with BASF & TE Business Development Representatives to develop, implement and monitor the site rolling mass balances in support of annual sustainability programs.
  • Developing, maintaining and reporting on utilization of Sustainable feedstock tolling facilities.
  • Developing, monitoring and reporting on feedstock and product database transactions consistent with financial, accounting and controlling expectations.
  • Managing tickets for feedstock sales and purchases, inspecting documentation of feedstock sales in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Supporting SAP invoicing/billing and uploading and performing billing checks at critical billing period.
  • Developing and issuing weekly and monthly reports as needed to stakeholders.

If you...

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent blend of knowledge and experience.
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience working with SAP, Aspen Explorer, logistics functions and inventory management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using SAP and MS Office tools like Excel, Word, etc.
