WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our Operations Unit Optimization & Digitalization acts as a central point of contact throughout Europe for improvement projects and for specific questions about LEAN/Operational Excellence tools and methods.

• As a LEAN/Operational Excellence specialist, you analyze operational and administrative processes with regard to optimization potential.
• You act as an expert to evaluate measures regarding their implementation and support our local Production Excellence team in the implementation of optimization projects.
• Moreover, you also give workshops and training sessions on LEAN management and methods at our locations.
• You develop digital concepts, supervise or carry out digital projects and design dashboards using PowerBI from the Enterprise Data Pool.
• You use LEAN tools to support decisions in digital and process technology, e.g. the best tool to use, roll-out plans, process efficiency comparisons, etc.
• Furthermore, you also facilitate the transfer of know-how between the locations: you promote team success and share the knowledge gained between the locations.
• As part of our regular improvement and transparency program, you organize and support events to identify suitable measures to continuously improve site efficiency.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Master's degree in engineering or natural sciences with a focus on process optimization
• initial professional experience in project management as well as in the field of business intelligence and big data analysis (e.g. with PowerBI)
• familiar with the implementation of process improvements in an industrial environment and in dealing with databases
• comprehensive methodological knowledge of lean management (Kaizen or Six Sigma) and the presentation of interactions between data and processes
• business fluent in German and English
• willingness for international business trips
