Objectives of the Position
Reporting to the Head of Market Development, Personal Care Solutions (PCS) Asia Pacific, you will:
- Drive sustainable profitable growth within the Asia Pacific region by establishing and executing industry strategy based on relevant market intelligence
- Maximize profitability across various industry segments while targeting reinvestment or regional expansion
- Translate regional Strategic Business Unit (SBU) strategies into specific market measures for the respective segment and implement them with PCS Subregional Business Managers
Job Responsibilities
- Develop regional Hair Body Oral Care industry segment solutions and marketing activities with input from regional and local teams, while collecting market intelligence to identify new business opportunities
- Share market intelligence with PCS teams, including Product Management, local sales, and R&D, to inform product development
- Initiate, develop, and launch new product concepts based on market needs, and drive customer-specific marketing projects with Sales and Application Technology teams
- Educate internal teams and external stakeholders on market trends and strategies through events and technical training sessions
- Create and implement communication plans for industry stakeholders, collaborating with the Communications team on advertisements, exhibitions, customer events, and promotional tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in d technical service, sales, marketing, preferably in the personal care or related markets or industries
- Ability to collaborate efficiently across diverse culture and work effectively within a virtual team environment
- Capable of leading initiatives without direct authority
