WHAT YOU WILL DO

Join our team in the Sales Western Europe Focus Industries unit as a Distribution Manager! We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about optimizing distribution processes and enhancing service quality. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving efficiency and ensuring compliance within our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Management: analyze current distribution processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.

  • Compliance and Safety: ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations in accordance with distribution agreements. Maintain a strong focus on safety standards throughout all distribution activities.

  • Budget and Cost Control: develop and manage distribution pricing strategies. Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness to enhance top-line contribution and reduce costs. Monitor expenses and key performance indicators (KPIs) closely, while analyzing sales data and profitability.

  • Inventory Control and Logistics: oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure the implementation of effective planning and forecasting processes to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Team Management: lead and organize all principal and distribution communications. Facilitate strategic dialogues and business reviews. Set performance goals for distribution partners and conduct regular evaluations to ensure alignment with business objectives.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic account development, key account management, contract negotiation and management and Cross-European business experience, demonstrating an understanding of diverse markets and cultures
  • Experience in pricing management, with a focus on developing competitive pricing strategies
  • Strong understanding of customer and market intelligence, with the ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior
  • Knowledge of products and applications relevant to the industry
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated customer focus, with a commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and German; proficiency in Portuguese is preferred
