Area:

At the Uruguay HUB, we have the Human Resources Services (HRS) area, which supports the employee journey for over 23,000 BASF employees, from onboarding to offboarding.

In March 2021, we began building the Human Resources team for the Americas, which today includes more than 200 people, impacting BASF's entire value chain. Among other responsibilities, this team manages talent attraction and recruitment, develops the Employer Brand, works on people development, designs compensation and benefits packages, and operates the administrative processes related to Human Resources management.

Main Objective of the Position:

This role will be responsible for developing the HR Services KPIS in automated tool, supporting the reporting operations with standards needs received.

Main Tasks:

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights to HR stakeholders.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure analytics and reporting needs are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Responsible for managing data sets, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis, involving data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Perform data analysis and data validation to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Assess KPI´s analysis and comparison year on year.
  • Action oriented and demonstrate accountability for results
  • Contributes in the analysis & implementation of reporting and evaluation of current processes in HR as well as project reporting implementation.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

  • Education: University degree in Business, Administration, Communications, Psychology, Economics, IT or related fields.
  • Working Experience: 1-3 years of experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel in a reporting/analytics role.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is valued.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and Excel is essential. Strong analytical skills in reporting and dashboard creation. Demonstrated ability to translate metrics and data into easily understandable formats for stakeholders. Knowledge of front-end reporting tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Action Oriented and demonstrated accountability for results. Direct communication & guidance as well as motivation & development of the team members. Partner management & customer focus.
