Key Responsibilities
- Handle movement of materials (Raw Material, Finished Goods, Rework Material) in the plant (depend on area assigned).
- Ensure all environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are being adhered to and maintain high safety standards and a safe working environment.
- Conduct arrangement of materials, label pasting & housekeeping.
- Assist in the periodic cycle count.
- "Finished Good Forklift Driver:
- Picking, prepare and load/stuff of finished products to the container or lorry as set procedures. Attend unloading of inward materials from lorry/container as set procedures. Conduct Rework Material handling & movement."
- Ensure that all partial materials are kept in a proper manner.
- Transfer of materials or chemicals to appropriate area or location for production, maintenance.
- Support the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO TS 16949 and Process Safety Management by practicing them accordingly to ensure full compliance with the requirements as stipulated in the system
1. Rework management:-
- Collaborate with the Executive Planner to arrange and organize rework production before production use.
- Pick up from the production for newly generated rework material and stock in to location based on product grade
- Prepare and arrange for rework off-grade sell after identification by Asst. Manager, Planning. Ensure the process is comply with BASF safety and legal rules
- Ensure the stock accuracy and perform periodical stock take upon request
2. Handling of Scrap material, Used Pallets, and Jumbo bag selling to scrap vendor:-
- Monitor the scrap area with good housekeeping
- Organize the pick-up schedule with the scrap vendor
- Loading of the scrap material and preparation of related documents during scrap collection
- Prepare manual DO/Invoice prior collection
3. Forklift Management (PMA group - SLO, TSS, PMA Plant)
- Monitor the monthly forklift servicing schedule by coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Filing out the servicing logsheet
- As certified forklift trainer
4. Outbound Delivery
- Responsible for the day to day finished goods movement export & locals' deliveries
- Preparing pick slip and attached or paste checklist as well prepare shipping marks based on G14 input
- Preparing GHS label base on country requirement
- Communicate with CSO and BDP export team on daily stuffing arrangement
- Update stuffing information at CMR and prepare COA for local and cross border delivery
5. FG transfer movement to 3rd party warehouse
- Review the inventory status and plan the product grade which required to move to 3rd party
- Communicate with DDS for truck arrangement
- Prepare Pickslip for the movement
- Complete Picking in both BCS and SAP system for inventory record
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior-level role is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse logistics.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO TS 16949 standards is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to safety protocols.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (e.g., BCS, SAP).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
