Main Tasks:
• Responsible for the coordination and global implementation of trade restrictions in scope
• Monitor the relevant legal requirements and analyze the impact on the BASF Group
• Develop strategies, concepts and IT processes for the practical implementation of these requirements together with colleagues around the world
• Contribute to the further development of the Global Trade SAP Service Tool (GTS)
• Lead a specialist community, provide training and moderate the exchange of best practices
• Work as representative of responsible topics in internal and external committees, and BASF's point of contact with the relevant competent authorities
Job Requirements:
• Degree in a natural sciences program (chemistry, biology, or similar) is a must
• 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of foreign trade or product compliance / chemical regulations, preferably in a chemical company
• Analytical and conceptual strength, clear and concise communication and high problem-solving skills
• Team player with a cooperative working style
• Business fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
