As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the supply chain team, coordinate warehouse operations, and oversee shipping and transportation, including US Customs coordination for the site. You will also develop detailed plans for raw materials and finished goods, manage inventory, and play a strategic role in logistics and planning, impacting both the entire site and the Agricultural Solutions business.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you create chemistry by...
- Leading the Supply Chain team and developing a high-performance group to ensure operational excellence.
- Overseeing all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and transportation activities, while ensuring compliance with export and import regulations.
- Managing dangerous goods and FIFRA materials, providing technical support for packaging preparation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Developing and overseeing production schedules for finished goods, bulk products, and intermediates, ensuring the availability of raw materials, packaging components, containers, and ISO tanks to support plant needs.
- Acting as the responsible person for Transport and Distribution Safety at the site, representing the site as Hazmat and FIFRA Coordinator to ensure compliance with corporate and federal regulations.
- Connecting the plant with various stakeholders, including the Agricultural Solutions Supply Chain team, BASF subsidiaries, the Corporate Foreign Trade Team, and US Customs, to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory compliance.
- Being an active member of the Manati Site Leadership Team and contributing to the development and improvement of the entire site by defining internal guidelines and strategies, implementing site activities, and representing the site with external stakeholders.
If you...
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, or a related field.
- Have ten years of experience in similar positions (Logistics/Planning).
- Have four to five years of experience in leadership roles.
- Are bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
Additionally, it would be preferred if you:
- Are experienced in production processes and/or import and export operations.
- Possess certifications in FIFRA, DOT, IATA, IMDG, and other transportation certifications.
- Have experience with SAP, WMS, Bar Code Systems, and other related systems.
- Are knowledgeable about dangerous goods.
- Have a digital mindset.
