Main responsibilities

Sales development and efficiency, customer intimacy and satisfaction

• Sustainably achieve sales targets encompassing profit margin volume & sales.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans for the targeted customers.
• Ensure effective collaboration with Marketing, Technical, and Plant teams.
• Initiative to explore new business and new application.

Market intelligence

• Develop and implement measures to continuously track, report and act upon market intelligence such as market trends, competitive activities, demand/capacity development, pricing development, together with Marketing team.
• Establish and capitalize relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.

Cost-to-serve and working capital

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, and other colleagues to ensure effective business forecast, payment terms, receivables and credit risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in chemical industry.
• Well-established communication skills.
• Demonstrate customer focus when facing complex and ambiguous business situation and environment.
• Well-organized, work in a rapid pace environment, meet deadlines.
• Technical Competencies: Nice to have knowledge and expertise in Agrochemical, Construction, Oleochemicals, Bioethanol, Pulp & Paper.
