We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Performance Materials team in Toronto.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the polyurethane production operation, including bulk shipping and receiving. They will manage the production team and interact with supply chain planners, QC technicians, customer service, and logistics. The role also involves coordinating with warehouse operators for packaged raw materials and finished goods, and working with maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance. Additionally, the Production Supervisor will issue safe work permits for contractors and handle other assigned topics.

- Supervising the polyurethane production operation, including bulk shipping and receiving while also supervising the production team.
- Frequently interacting with supply chain planner, QC technicians. and warehouse operators for packaged raw materials and finished products.
- Coordinating with maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Issuing safe work permits for contractors.
- Having the autonomy to make decisions related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Interacting with external parties such as transportation companies and customers.
If you have...
- Minimum a High School Diploma with at least 5 years of production-related experience. (Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2 years of production-related experience preferred).
- a Forklift license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Regulatory knowledge (e.g., TDG, WHMIS)
- Experience with polyurethane production (preferred)
- Supervisory experience this would be preferred.
