Objectives:
Based on company’s target, manage fixed assets, monitor service quality via NCM, and support the team to provide good service to plants, BU and end customers through streamlining operation process, analyzing current operation data to figure out improvement area & find solution; Submit team OpEx measures into system; Conducting & supporting top-to-down projects in order to make sure the operation is in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Main Tasks:
1. Optimization and improvement
• Work with other departments within the companies to strengthen internal control and self-audit functions to ensure operational risks, financial risks and company’s risks are well controlled and mitigated
• Innovation with feasible solutions for work efficiency improving and cost saving
• Collect and monitor cost saving measures implement progress and realized amount by month.
• Evaluate existing logistics processes for areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor process performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of process improvements across the organization.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various logistics activities.
• Upload OpEx measures into system((as coordinator to apply for OpEx Budget and be part of OpEx community for Best Practice sharing)
• Monitor and provide advice to management to minimize risk resulting from internal controls.
2. Data Collection and analysis
• Collect and analyze relevant logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Generate statistical reports and present findings.
• Utilize quality management tools and techniques to perform data analysis.
• Recommend and implement strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize logistics processes and improve overall performance
3. Fix assets management
• Responsible for asset annual stock-taking monitor and coordinator
• Generate fix assets report
• Responsible for applying assets procurement and scrap in system
• Responsibilities of Special Equipment Safety Controller in order No. 74 from the State Administration for Market Regulation and the TSG 08.
4. Quality management
• Coordinate for internal procedures and WIs reviewing and revising
• Coordinate internal and external audit
• As coordinator role for NCM Y1 (customer complain) and collect & analysis NCM Y7(complain to LSP)
• Responsible to develop qualification concept for LSP related operation, train the trainers (mentors for special topics) in operations. Responsible for the qualification documentation (Qualification-Matrix, Learning Assignments, etc.).
• Responsible for QM-Rep of Cluster Pudong, monitor related regulations from related authorities and ensure timely reflection to working procedure and instructions if any
• Investigate, track and close NCM issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross teams to improve logistics processes and raise quality standards.
5. Drive Performance Management in Cluster Organization (PD Site)
• Responsible for HR interface of the department, including overtime record and attendance record
• Responsible for preparation of annual budget planning as well as monthly monitoring
• Responsible for definition of cost categories and calculating method, and cost variance analysis
• Monitor service/costs performance on monthly and annual basis. Work closely with management and provide strategic advice and direction on key decision on improvement
• Monitor Maintenance MPI
• Organize and prepare for monthly department meeting
• Solve problems (internal control related) by breaking down component parts and use initiative to resolve the issue
• Warehouse SAP system solution support
6. Reporting
• Generate department monthly operation report and submit to Cluster head
• Generate department cost saving and OpEx report.
• Implement and manage the reporting and cost settlement processes necessary to meet regulatory and legal requirements for both the Chinese and BASF to ensure reporting are met within set-time frame and guidelines
Job Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related discipline, degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering would be a strong plus
2. Working Experience: About 5 years working experience in logistics or supply chain; Working experience in chemical industry preferred
3. Technical & Professional Knowledge:
• Chemical industry business knowledge and experience a plus.
• Good capability in written and verbal English and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools and quality management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to drive process improvements.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving continuous improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Skillful in software of excel, word and PowerPoint; Skillful in flowchart drawing; Experience in SAP operation preferred.
