Objectives of the Position

• Responsible to assist for batch card revision, P&ID Optimization and Yearly Review.
• Responsible to assist for Process Safety related documentation & STATURE.
• Responsible to assist for MOC attachment from Process Safety aspects.
• Responsible for Process troubleshooting and assistance.
• Responsible for Visual Management of Plant.

Main Tasks

Related to Process Management

• Assist Process Manager to provide the required operating data for the selection of appropriate equipment such as mixers, homogenizers, and storage tanks.
• Assist Process Manager to create and modify process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to reflect the operational setup.
• Assist Process Manager to analyse existing data to optimize the formulation and processing parameters, such as temperature, pressure, mixing speed, and ingredient ratios.
• Assist Process Manager to analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for yield improvement.
• Assist Process Manager about any new product transfer or improvement.

Related for EHS

• Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards, particularly regarding the handling of chemicals and potential hazards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to minimize risks in the production environment.
• Conduct SHE Review and others safety improvement initiatives

Related for Maintenance

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software or Microsoft Visio.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of documents related to Maintenance.
• Manage and track document submission and records.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
• Relevant experience in process engineering, specifically in the production of emulsions or similar products, is highly beneficial.
• Ability to understand polymerization processes is an advantage

• Strong fundamentals in engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Able to work overtime as required.
