GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

EHS and Information protection:

• Business related information and documents should be protected against misuse or loss by appropriate Information protection measures.

• Actively represent BASF Group interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines as well CORE values and principles.

Principal Responsibilities

Formula for Success: You Will be Responsible For…

• Organization and management of sales (hereinafter referred to as sales of goods, works and services);

• Search for potential customers, including as part of the company's commission activities;

• Conducting commercial negotiations with clients in the interests of the LLP and its counterparties;

• Motivation of customers to work with the company, in accordance with the approved programs;

• Clarification of customer needs, coordination of the order with the client in accordance with his needs;

• Planning and analytical work of a sales manager: - Drawing up a monthly sales plan; - Analysis of statistical data; - Submission of reports on the results of work in accordance with the company's regulations;

• Acceptance and processing of customer orders, execution of the necessary documents related to these orders, assigned to themselves, as well as for customers assigned to the relevant leading sales managers when they are outside the office of the LLP company;

• Promptly respond to information received from customers and bring it to the attention of the relevant lead sales manager and the head of the marketing and sales department;

• Sales Assurance:

  • Implementation of information and technical support for customers;
  • Informing customers about all changes in the assortment, price increases and decreases, actions to stimulate demand, the time of arrival of products at the warehouse;

• Final agreement with the client on the terms of prices, date of shipment and method of delivery of products; transfer of requests for the delivery of products to customers in the management of the logistics network; interaction with the Internal company's structural divisions in order to fulfill the assigned tasks; participation in meetings; maintenance of working and reporting documentation;

• Keeping customer data in the information system up to date; control of shipments of products to customers;

• Control of the client's financial discipline, warning about payment deadlines.

• Maintenance of project sheets, preparation of meeting reports, collection of technical information on the use of the product, settlement of complaints

• Sales forecasting

• Sales of BASF products in relevant markets and promoting sales • Development and support of customer relations

• Negotiations

• Preparation of technical and commercial proposals

• Participate and contribute to global initiatives with the responsibility to develop and achieve strategic objectives regionally

• Market research [accessible SRM]

• Build up relation with new customers

• Develop existing customer relations

WHAT YOU OFFER

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

Education:

  • University degree (technical, corresponding industry background would be an advantage – Chemical Engineering or Chemist)
  • Master’s degree in business administration specializing in sales/marketing/international business or comparable
  • Additional degree / certification in science/applied sciences/chemistry/ is an advantage
  • PU knowledge is a big plus

Specific knowledge, experience and skills:

• Previous experience in technical sales

• Positve attitude and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment with a mindset to drive growth

• Proactive, taking initiative and working in collaborative team environment

• Eagerness to learn and develop, both self and the team

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM, virtual communication tools)

• Readiness for business travelling

• Broad knowledge of / practice in foreign companies or governmental bodies

• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in communication and relationship building

• Strong analytical skills

• Working Experience: Early-Career-Professional with min. 2 years of experience, ideally in focus industry / foreign companies

• Fluent in Russian & English, Kazakh and Uzbek will be plus
