I. General Duties:
• Active representation of BASF’s interests.
• Setting an example and communicating to corporate values and principles of the BASF Group.
• Contribution to maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the BASF Group.
• Follow up of the compliance program of the BASF group.
II. Operational duties:
Formula for Success: You Will be Responsible For…
Credit risk management block
• Up-to-date risk assessment based on external ratings and internal rating system for clients for which a credit limit is requested;
• Independent decision-making on granting credit limits and coordination in accordance with the current internal procedure for approving credit limits;
• Entry of approved credit limits into the system, monitoring the degree of use of the credit limit amounts. Minimization of risks (application of various collateral instruments);
• Effective and pro-active management of blocked orders, prompt review and action in accordance with internal rules, monitoring of payment discipline;
• Regular reports on accounts receivable and overdue, regular monitoring and tracking of the status of clients with overdue debts in Central Asia region, implementation of effective debt collection measures;
• Debt collection work;
• Initiation of a lawsuit on overdue receivables with the involvement of Business Units and Legal department;
• Risk management for the portfolio of pledges / guarantees / sureties: coordination of the provision of pledges / guarantees / sureties by clients to provide / maintain / increase the credit limit - tracking the terms of validity of pledges / guarantees / sureties and making decisions on their extension
• Monitoring and making decisions on unblocking orders in case of overdue receivables or exceeding the credit limit;

• Responsible for facilitating the verification of costs;
• Supports with the analysis of business unit costs;
• Supports projects of global and regional controlling departments;
• Expert financial support for new projects initiated in Central Asia;
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management report in collaboration with the finance and regional service divisions;
• Responsibility for submission of the monthly management report for Central Asia;
• Act as a strategic control outpost accountable for continuous challenge of strategy / action owners and regular reporting;
• Responsibility for providing and requiring qualified management information for business and functional leaders in Central Asia;
• First-level support for pricing issues, first-level support for managing controlling systems;
WHAT YOU OFFER
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Education:
- University Degree in Finance / Economics or other similar discipline
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken
Specific knowledge, experience and skills:
• Min 5 years of work experience in finance and at least 3 years in CRM
• Knowledge of risk management and internal control procedures
• Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Work experience at Big4 companies - desirable
• Knowledge of SAP, business analytics apps (Power BI) – desirable
