The Surface Technologies global business unit of BASF's Coatings division, operating under the Chemetall brand, is a leading supplier of applied surface technologies for metal, plastic and glass substrates. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In your role as Marketing Manager ACE / AlFi / Industry / MWF (m/f/d) you will be responsible for:

• Develop consistent collection of market & competitive information and feedback loop into organization
• Conduct market analysis for strategic fields
• Support development and implementation of Segment Strategies and tactical plans together with RMM, KIM, GSMM, and Countries (concrete activities, roadmap and key commercial targets)
• Support development of key strategic initiatives within (sub)segment incl development of business plan and tactical measures
• Monitor prices (costs) trends, conduct commercial analyses within segment cluster Develop market concepts and material for strategic initiatives (launches, sustainability, portfolio positioning)
• Roll out of marketing material and communications towards country sales force and customers
• Prepare and conduct strategic dialogues with key strategic customers

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Successfully completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, engineering, business administration or a similar field
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in the surface treatment or chemical industry in commercial or technical roles
• Excellent project management skills
• Basic understanding of the technology
• Strong communication skills and proactive communication with external and internal stakeholders from all hierarchy levels
• Knowledge of MS Office, Thinkcell and Power BI
• Available to occasional travel on business trips abroad
• Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German beneficial
