Area:

In BASF, our Finance Order-to-Cash (F-O2C) team is essential for ensuring efficiency and reliability in the financial management of our operations in the Americas. From HUB Montevideo, we cover processes from the moment of sale to the moment of customer payment and are responsible for key areas such as treasury and cash management, accounts receivable, collections management, credit management, intercompany reconciliation, and master data for customers and suppliers. Our goal is to maintain robust and agile processes, minimize financial and operational risks, and promote continuous innovation through the digitalization and automation of tasks.

Main Objective of the Position:

Responsible for ensuring the accurate creation and modification of customer and supplier records for the Latin America and North America regions. This role involves meeting established SLA deadlines, offering support to stakeholders throughout the process, and maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.

Main Tasks:

  • Validate and ensure quality control of master data for customers, suppliers, and banking information related to creation and modification requests, in accordance with internal policies and procedures, while mitigating potential fraud risks for the company.
  • Execute mass change requests in compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Provide support for local, regional, and global projects, including attending meetings, submitting reports, and addressing inquiries.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders and other departments to enhance the user experience.
  • Deliver presentations, generate reports, conduct testing, and document processes in Know It.Handle ad-hoc requests and provide training to users.
  • Serve as a backup for other analysts as needed.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

  • Education | Student or bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Work Experience | 1 to 3 years of experience in master data maintenance, procurement, credits, or similar roles.
  • Languages | Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written. Portuguese valued.
  • Technical Skills | Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is valued.
  • Soft Skills | Strong teamwork, effective communication, customer focus, and attention to detail.
