Internship Details:
- Duration: 4 months (Summer 2026)
- Location: Strathmore, AB and Winnipeg, MB
- Compensation: $24 - $31 / Hour

What You’ll Learn:
- How to conduct agronomic field trials and analyze crop performance.
- The practical application of seed technology and hybrid development.
- Field scouting techniques and crop health diagnostics.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills in dynamic field conditions.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct field trials with the Agronomic Excellence team.
- Assist with all phases of crop cycle activities — from land prep and planting to harvest.
- Monitor field and research plots, collect data, and analyze results.
- Supervise casual employees as needed.
- Travel regularly within your assigned territory for field scouting and diagnostics.
What We’re Looking For:
- You’re currently enrolled in an agriculture or related degree program.
- You’re passionate about agronomy, hybrid development, and field research.
- You’re a strong communicator, organized, and ready to learn.
- You have a valid driver’s license and are open to travel.
- You’re familiar with agricultural equipment and field research practices (preferred but not required).
- You’re detail-oriented and adaptable to changing field conditions.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program. We do not accept applications from students who have already graduated.
