Site HR Manager – Thane Site
Location - Thane, India

1. Objectives of the Position: The Site Employee Relations Manager will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources administration, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting a healthy workplace culture.

Human Resources / Employee Relations:
• Employee & Industrial Relations: Maintain discipline, foster a positive work culture, and ensure cordial relations with government authorities.
• CSR & Community Development: Coordinate CSR initiatives with the corporate team and implement community programs under CAP guidelines.
• Training & Engagement: Identify skill gaps, conduct training programs, and enhance employee engagement levels.
• HR Operations: Manage time office, wage and salary administration, and ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements.
• Contract & Legal Compliance: Oversee contract labor deployment, ensure contractor compliance, and represent labor-related legal matters in court.
• Site Administration: Supervise security, health services, welfare measures, housekeeping, green belt upkeep, and ensure adherence to RC codes for HR and admin.
2. Representatives Main Tasks:

a. Workforce Management: Ensure discipline, optimize manpower utilization, manage recruitment, and oversee wage and salary administration in coordination with the Hub Team.

b. Training & Development: Implement training programs as per the calendar, including safety training with EHS, and manage TDS documentation and compliance.

c. Employee Engagement & Communication: Drive engagement activities, internal/external communication (RC Code-8), and foster a positive work culture and morale.

d. Organizational Development: Lead manpower planning and support organizational change initiatives to align with company goals.
e. Industrial & Legal Compliance: Maintain cordial union relations, resolve grievances, ensure statutory compliance under labor laws, and represent the company in legal and conciliation matters.

f. Site Operations & Safety: Oversee security services, fire safety, emergency response, canteen, health center, housekeeping, and green belt maintenance, ensuring adherence to EHS&S and C.A.R.E. principles.

g. Public Relations & CSR: Lead community development initiatives, liaise with government officials and local leaders, and actively participate in industry associations to enhance company reputation.

h. People & Performance Management: Drive employee motivation, talent development, manpower planning, budgeting, and implement idea management to improve departmental efficiency and results.
i. External Liaison & Approvals: Authorized to interact and negotiate with contractors, government officials, trade unions, and local bodies; responsible for PR and SOP approvals.

j. Site Operations & Compliance: Oversees safety, 5S, work permits, manpower allocation, and ensures compliance with RC codes and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).

k. Leadership & Environment: Drives departmental motivation, manages budgets, supports talent development, and ensures a clean, safe, and efficient working environment aligned with EHS and C.A.R.E. principles.


• Education & Qualification:
• Degree in Human Resources.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Labour Laws
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving ability.
• More than 10-12 years of working experience preferably in chemical or petrochemical plant operation.
• Min 2 years of experience in leadership position.
