We are looking for a Seed Technologies and Analytics (STA) Labs Project Coordinator to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As a STA Labs Project Coordinator, you will manage molecular analysis services between regional STA Labs and stakeholder requestors, ensuring alignment with business needs that support global crop system innovation and decision-making. The Project Coordinator develops and prioritizes testing strategies for each project to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery. You will manage resources efficiently, balancing internal lab capabilities with enabling technologies and outsourcing.

- Developing and maintaining an annual overview of molecular analysis needs aligned with crop strategies and business priorities.
- Collaborating with STA Labs Portfolio Managers and global stakeholders to manage project volumes, timelines, and strategic needs.
- Strategically prioritizing projects to ensure analytics remain in line with business objectives.
- Assigning best cost-effective testing strategies in partnership with key requestors, ensuring lab feasibility and adaptability.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders to manage planning, risks, and timelines; proactively addressing delays and prioritizing projects.
- Tracking and reporting project resource allocations while providing quarterly BIO-item forecasts for resource management.
If you...
- Bachelors degree in a Life Science field of study with 8 years of relevant experience or Masters in a Life Science field of study and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bring previous stakeholder management (Seeds & Traits) knowledge and lab operations experience.
- Demonstrate experience in R&D across Trait Research, Development, and Breeding for key crops, with a strong understanding of molecular technologies, genotyping, and high-throughput lab systems (e.g., LIMS, scoring tools).
- Exhibit skills in testing strategy design and molecular data analysis.
- Coordinate high-impact projects with strengths in planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Champion innovation, continuous improvement, process optimization, and proactive problem-solving.
- Manage project feasibility, timelines, and reporting while ensuring compliance is embedded in operations.
- Effectively communicate complex data across R&D, actively listen to stakeholders, and collaborate in diverse, cross-functional settings. Build strong partnerships, align goals and metrics, and train peers in areas of expertise. Maintain a strong understanding of the Seeds & Traits organization and actively work with other parts of the organization (e.g., Regulatory).
- Actively network across regions and align lab plans with crop priorities. Lead strategic projects, balancing resources, risks, and stakeholder needs. Serve as a role model in initiatives and pursue continuous growth through mentoring and collaboration.
