Main responsibilities

Demand and distribution planning, DVM

  • Organize Regional Demand validation meeting (DVM) with related stakeholder per guideline
  • Analyst forecast changes under regional level and work with countries planner for adjustment
  • Propose to business SCM solution optimize SCM service to business
  • Join the countries DVM, advise distribution plan and stock replenishment the target setting.
  • If replenishment plan exceeds inventory target, escalate to regional SCM lead based on the impact and recover plan after aligning with countries.

S&OP, Rough cut and detail scheduling planning monitor

  • Establish and lead the regional S&OP process with operation and relevant stakeholders.
  • Be monitor for the rough cut planning decision process of key planning topics, inventory direction along with cross supply.
  • Enhance a close-loop communication between regional level rough cut planning and site level detail planning.
  • Manage alignment of sites for topics of cross supply, intermediate supply and product localization.
  • Based on countries validate demand, according to forecast and sales order receive, monitor status and align with sales & PM for allocation if necessary.
  • Review the countries stock point and safety stock level, propose stock keeping to business unit to optimize service level and business growth.
  • Responsible for shortage management including internal communication with different groups, allocation and drive for fulfillment of allocation to minimize business loss and pending backlog

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory within target level
  • Propose inventory target to guarantee service level while keeping overall balance between inventory level and service level
  • Optimize BU inventory profile including daily inventory value, operative inventory value, aging stock through inventory report analysis.
  • Perform inventory status update based on official notice from PM and Quality
  • Responsible for HOI (Health of Inventory) management, follow with relate stockholder to clear HOI
  • Monitor stock movement is handled properly by related service owners to ensure inventory is real time update per global/regional/country guideline and regulation

Supply Chain Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Act as the primary service contact for all parties—both internal and external (include GKA) of the assigned responsibility area. Ensure consistent and standardized processes are followed by all related parties, and actively support daily issue resolution and troubleshooting activities.

  • Supply Chain Support and Communication
  • Identify, evaluate and optimize supply chain initiatives.
  • Liaise with the Business Unit regarding impacts related to supply chain strategies and policies.
  • Comply with all internal operative procedures (e.g. FCA) and ensure all related documents are adjusted and archived accordingly
  • To give valuable input and alert to Regional Supply Chain lead to improve overall performance on supply chain management
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take on a larger scope of responsibilities
  • Be able to follow both Global EMX and regional EMX/SA guidelines in planning
  • Support EMX SCM project activity
  • Identify and assess supply risks such as shutdowns, logistics issues, material shortages, quality concerns, market demand changes, and social factors. Coordinate with stakeholders to manage crises and implement solutions.
  • Propose and evaluate risk mitigation options based on cost, supply reliability, and asset effectiveness. Steer decision-making with the business management team and communicate actions to all impacted parties.
  • Continuously challenge and improve supply chain processes by reducing waste, optimizing costs, enhancing delivery reliability, simplifying interfaces, and shortening processing times.
  • Seek opportunities for harmonization and complexity reduction to optimize supply capability, asset effectiveness, and storage capacity.
  • Capture value from planning variances, especially for tolling customers, and use data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) to support improvements.
  • Track volume development and alert business teams to deviations, ensuring proactive management and continuous improvement.

Project management

  • Project support / coordination
  • To plan and steer assigned local/regional/global supply chain related projects

Value Chain

  • Ensure all four assets (Thailand, India, China, Indonesia) run smoothly and meet capacity targets. Host regular update meetings with each site.
  • Monitor and discuss capacity, inventory, and sales forecasts with stakeholders. Track and report any major changes or risks.
  • Identify and manage supply risks (e.g., shutdowns, logistics, material shortages, quality issues). Propose and implement solutions with the business team.
  • Coordinate with sales, planners, and customers to resolve issues and support business growth.
  • Lead and improve regional planning processes (S&OP, demand validation, inventory management).
  • Support supply chain projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Management, Chemistry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or a related field, with a track record of success in commodity or FMCG business environments. Project management experience is preferred. Planning experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work in multicultural environments, analytical thinking, identifying and leveraging business opportunities, making operational decisions related to customer expectations, communicating and negotiating with internal supply chain staff, managing time and prioritising multiple tasks, analysing and resolving problems, supporting process improvements, and using tools such as Power BI for data analysis and presentation.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
