The Supply Chain Design Excellence role serves as a strategic enabler of continuous efficiency improvement across our end-to-end operations value chain. By cultivating a holistic view of processes and capabilities—from planning through to customer delivery—this position plays a critical role in driving excellence and transformation. As a key contributor to the Supply Chain Excellence team, the role is responsible for supporting the identification, design, implementation, and sustainment of digitally enabled capabilities that elevate performance, agility, and resilience. Beyond enablement and support, this role leads change management activities to ensure successful adoption and long-term value realization across the organization.

Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, this role is a catalyst for translating strategic supply chain priorities into innovative, scalable solutions that support business growth and operational transformation.

As a Supply Chain Design Excellence - Research Triangle Park, NC, you create chemistry by...

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to broader strategic initiatives.
• Experience in customer-facing or internal consulting roles, with a focus on identifying needs, co-creating solutions, and delivering measurable value.
• Experience in developing and managing change management activities.
• Ability to work effectively with commercially oriented teams and senior leadership to align digital initiatives with business goals.
• Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to digitally focused, cross-functional project teams using Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Proven experience applying quantitative techniques to solve business problems, including data modeling, transformation, and visualization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decisions.
• Familiarity with modern digital tools and platforms, including the use of Generative & Agentic AI capabilities (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) with a demonstrated ability to apply them in practical, value-adding ways.
• Hands-on experience or strong exposure to Supply Chain Operations (planning, logistics, customer service, etc.), including process optimization & design, simulation capabilities, performance improvement, and awareness of digitally based Supply Chain technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, or computer science field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholder groups across many functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong presence and composure in high-stakes, time-sensitive situations.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of Design Thinking and Agile methodologies to identify, frame, and solve business problems.
• Experience with mapping processes, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and iterative solution development.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles and digital product development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Power BI (including frontend design and backend data transformation).
• Ability to prioritize actions based on data-driven insights.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a digital-first mindset.
• Passion for continuous improvement and value creation, with a focus on customer-centric outcomes.
