Objective:
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications.
You will work closely with frontend developers, data engineers, and product managers to create efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems.
Your expertise in Spring Boot and cloud technologies will be essential in driving the success of our projects.
Main Task:
- Design and Develop APIs: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring they meet the needs of the frontend and other services.
- Database Management: Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval, as well as data integrity.
- Cloud Integration: Deploy and manage applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, optimizing resources for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems, contributing to a cohesive application architecture.
- Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and functional tests) to ensure the reliability of the backend systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance and implement optimizations for scalability and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and architectural decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, particularly with Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with frameworks such as Spring MVC and Spring Data.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to have):
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of security best practices in web applications.
- Familiarity with other backend technologies (e.g. Python, Terraform).
