Area:

In the HUB of Montevideo, we have the Financial Reporting area, which is responsible for ensuring that the financial statements are completed correctly, complying with local and international regulations. Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are prepared, collaborating with Local Finance, Controlling, and the parent company. At the end of the month, all information is gathered from the SAP System modules, and then we report our Financial and Operational versions in our official system.

Main Objective of the Position:

To execute daily and monthly Financial Reporting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of accounting information reported to U.S. based Headquarters.

Main Tasks:

  • Execute daily and monthly activities related to Financial Reporting processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure the quality of accounting information and accurate reporting to Headquarters for U.S. based companies.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and financial statement variance analysis.
  • Manage tasks related to Asset & Lease Accounting.
  • Prepare explanatory notes for quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Understand the end-to-end (E2E) process and its impact on Financial Reporting and other work areas.
  • Effectively drive process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participate in local, regional, and global projects, both in development and implementation stages.
  • Collaborate in audits, internal controls, change implementations, and other key organizational projects.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

  • Education | Advanced student or graduate in Certified Public Accounting or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

  • Work Experience | Between 4 and 6 of experience in accounting or related areas. Experience with IFRS is valued.

  • Languages | Mandatory advanced English, both oral and written

  • Technical Skills | Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel. Experience with Macros, databases, Power BI, and SAP is a plus.

  • Soft Skills | Strong analytical mindset, paired with excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to process improvement through technology and systems
