Core Purpose
- Malaysia Industrial Formulators Assistant Sales Manager for Coating/ Adhesive/ Sealant/ Elastomer Raw Materials.
- P&L Accountability for dedicated customers
- Customer level implement of short, mid and long-term measures, including customer approaches, portfolio revision,
- Identify unmet customer needs to develop and implement ideas and measures for additional value creation.
Main Responsibilities, Tasks & Deliverables
- Sales development and efficiency, customer intimacy and satisfaction
- Sustainably achieve sales targets encompassing ccM1, volume & sales.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans at the targeted customers.
- Ensure effective collaboration with Marketing, Technical, and Plant teams.
- Initiative to explore new business and new application.
- Market intelligence
- Develop and implement measures to continuously track, report and act upon market intelligence such as market trends, competitive activities, demand/capacity development, pricing development, together with Marketing team.
- Establish and capitalize relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.
- Cost-to-serve and Working capital
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, and other colleagues to ensure effective business forecast, payment terms, receivables and credit risk management.

- Sales Management team
- Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services,
- Country and Regional SCM
- Country platform, i.e. country functions
- External parties including customers, relevant 3rd party partners
- Reporting structure: Line Manager: ASEANA Senior Sales Manager, Supervision by Industrial Formulators’ Business Director.
Job Specification:
- Act with entrepreneurial drive
- Communicate effectively- have excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Demonstrate customer focus: capability to gain insight, create focus and communicate effectively when facing complex and ambiguous business situation and environment
- Have strong ability to learn and possess high work ethics.
- Well-organized, work in a rapid pace environment, meet deadlines.
- Technical Competencies: - Nice to have Knowledge and expertise in Emulsion Polymerization, Glove Industries, chemical formulating, and Rubber Processing.
- Minimum Education and Qualification Requirement
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or related discipline.
- Working Experience: 5-10 years’ working experience
- Other requirements: Well established communication skills
