Main Tasks:
- Steering of legal regulations for Asia Pacific and ensuring of compliance to support the continuity of operational tasks in trade control
- Comprehensive understanding of chemicals and its relevance to trade control requirements
- Support of reviewing and enhancing of Trade Control processes, focusing on simplification and digitalization
- SAP GTS license and block management
- Preparation and submission of reports to relevant authorities for regulated goods in Asia Pacific
- Community management of trade control colleagues in Asia Pacific
- Strong collaboration with Regional Trade Control Coordinators in Europe and America
- Key guidance and training to business units, enhancing their understanding of compliance issues and trade control procedures
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in natural science, business administration is a plus.
- Several years of professional experience in trade control
- Basic understanding of supply chain operations and knowledge of the business unit’s portfolio
- Strong communication skills in English with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to all levels of the organization
- Well-versed in IT applications, with expert knowledge in SAP GTS and a strong interest in digitalizing compliance processes
