Objectives of the Position
- Responsible for the overall operation management of payroll, time management and People data maintenance service delivery for Asia Pacific countries in scope.
- Ensure services are delivered based on established Service Level Agreements and internal KPIs by optimizing team resources.
- Drive process improvement and service quality enhancement.
Main Tasks
Operational Management
- Ensure consistent quality and compliance with service deliveries, in accordance to the established service level agreements and KPIs.
- Effective Issue Management where incidents are managed timely, stakeholders consulted, risks contained, and sustainable solutions made in place for business continuity.
- Responsible for vendor management for payroll, time management and HR data maintenance, which includes service provider scouting, selection, negotiation, contract management, onboarding, quality and performance monitoring and vendor invoice processing.
- Implement HR targets and support relevant global and regional projects and initiatives.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relations for effective operational management.
Process Improvement and Project Initiatives
- Proactively explore and implement digitalization and process optimization initiatives to achieve best cost to serve, engaging team experience and service excellence. Drive implementation of process improvements, automation and digitalization measures which will be rolled out predominantly in the GB KL Hub for achieving the efficiency target.
- Ensure delivery on knowledge management framework in building the formation of competence hub. Develop and timely management of knowledge strategies in ensuring the sustainability of competent HR Services team.
People Leadership
- Manage team resources (size of 8 - 12 members) for effective and efficient service delivery.
- Committing to the coaching and development of team members. Develop a competent team with HR competency and expertise in payroll and people data areas.

Requirements
- Tertiary education, preferably graduate in Human Resource Management
- Minimum 8 years of HR Administration experience with 2 years of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing a diverse work group.
- Experienced in working with a world-class HR system (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).
- Experienced in driving process harmonization and automation in HR services.
- Experienced in managing HR projects on a regional or sub-regional scope
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Solid Human Resources skills and knowledge.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Has a growth mindset to drive development of the team and the organization.
- Knowledge of Human Resources and Employment Laws in the Asia Pacific region is a plus.
- Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applications, i.e. Words, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in speaking and written English. Knowledge of any other Asian languages is advantageous.
