Our EC/ES Product Stewardship APAC unit plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with national and international chemical legislation. We are aiming to connect regulatory needs to business applications by enhancing operational efficiency, data management, and automation within the team.
Main Tasks:
• In this role, you are together with your team responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of product safety and master data for raw materials and finished goods to secure legal compliance for EC business operations.
• You act as the regional EHS Master Data Manager for EC Asia Pacific. Together with you team and our Global Master Data Team, you will engage in close collaboration to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
• You will serve as the EHS Master Data gatekeeper and ensure a proper life cycle manager for our data and work closely with our APAC plants and other regions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate EHS data to generate compliant documents for our products, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels.
• In this role you possess in-depth knowledge of GHS (Globally Harmonized System) rulesets, staying updated on the latest regulations and their implications for product labeling and safety. You will apply this expertise to guide the development and modification of product documentation.
• In this role, you are tasked with leading the implementation of new processes and tools and conducting training for Asia Pacific sites in alignment with the global EC strategy, ensuring that all teams are equipped to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
• Completed scientific studies (B.Sc or M. Sc) in natural science.
• Well-versed in IT applications, with at least 5 years working experience in SAP EHS system in product safety or chemical legislation area, coatings, fine chemical industrial relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GHS legislations and rulesets of several countries is crucial for this role.
• High level of commitment and teamwork skills, flexibility, customer orientation, as well as independent and structured work approach.
• Experience in developing and managing projects, as well as analyzing and solving problems.
• Clear and authentic communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, translate technical information clearly.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, pragmatism, and hands-on mentality.
