WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In our unit Digital Solutions & IT Architecture, EC/XD, we develop concepts and IT solutions for our global coatings and surface business. We drive innovative solutions, ensure seamless end-to-end processes, and identify global best practices for BASF Coatings locations. In this role as SAP Consultant for FI/CO you will:
- Define or select the technically optimal implementation of FI/CO processes, initially focusing on the implementation of SAP Group Reporting, Intercompany Transfer Pricing, and the Global Payment System.
- Take technical responsibility for interfaces to satellite systems.
- Work closely with the Global and Regional Process Owners of EC/XD and Controlling & Finance digitalization teams.
- Help shape the future standalone FI/CO architecture and implement quality standards.
- Design and implement SAP solutions, including customizing, coding and integration into existing system landscapes, in close collaboration with technical implementation partners.
- Support as 2nd level our Application Managed Services in analyzing critical Incidents on our production system.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration with an IT focus.
- In-depth knowledge of IT landscapes, especially customizing and coding in the SAP (S/4HANA) FI & CO modules.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, using methods and tools for interface description and data architecture.
- Several years of experience with global IT projects is desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
- Analytical skills and enjoyment of teamwork to achieve optimal results with internal and external partners.
