Main Tasks:
- Design and validate industrial automation and machine‑vision concepts for handling tasks, intralogistics and inline quality control for robust processes along the entire process chain in manufacturing of semi-finished and finished goods. From idea through piloting, also with qualified vendors, to production‑adjacent trials, and develop "ready for implementation" solutions in direct cooperation with the operations department.
- Concept and build of industrial automation solutions for handling and intralogistics tasks in operations
- Concept and build of vision systems / concepts for presence/position, dimensional checks and defect detection; performance tuning for inline inspection.
- Support Implementation & integration: FAT/SAT and ramp‑up in pilot and operations.
Requirements:
- Master or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or similar, experience in commissioning of special automation machinery in R&D and industrial context.
- 3-5 years solid industrial imaging experience, e.g. calibration incl. development / application of AI models, illumination, and evaluation; familiar with industrial imaging tools.
- Business‑fluent Chinese (native) and English.
