Main responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Communications Leadership
- Own and lead the planning and execution of integrated external communications activities, media events and customer conferences, to strengthen brand equity and drive product demand.
- Serve as the brand guardian for Agricultural Solutions Thailand, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality use of the BASF brand across all marketing and communications touchpoints.
- Define communication priorities and ensure alignment with business strategy, portfolio focus, and commercial objectives.
Digital Marketing Strategy & Performance Ownership
- Lead the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of digital marketing initiatives across key platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LINE OA, TikTok, website, paid media, SEO/SEM, display).
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for all digital campaigns, ensuring measurable impact on awareness, engagement, and demand creation.
- Own digital budget governance, tracking planned vs. actual spend, evaluating ROI, and driving optimization decisions across formats, content, targeting, and platforms.
Media Relations & Reputation Management
- Lead media engagement and outreach, proactively cultivating relationships with grower and key opinion leaders to secure positive and regular media coverage.
- Act as the primary media relations contact for Agricultural Solutions Thailand, overseeing press releases, media pitches, and external statements.
- Support business leadership team on communications strategy, key messaging, and stakeholder engagement for both internal and external audiences.
Agency, Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Select, contract, and manage external agencies and service providers, ensuring high-quality output, cost efficiency, and alignment with BASF standards.
- Collaborate closely with regional and local marketing teams to align strategies, share best practices, and execute cross-market initiatives.
- Act as a key cross-functional connector with commercial, technical, regulatory, and corporate affairs teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with substantial responsibilities in communications or branding, ideally within a multinational consumer or agriculture-focused organization.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with robust commercial and marketing insight.
- Holder of a valid driving license and willing to undertake extensive nationwide travel, including to rural and remote locations.
- Comprehensive understanding of both offline and online marketing and communication strategies, as well as branding methodologies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for reviewing and editing AI files, along with strong familiarity with digital, social media, and performance marketing platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai.
