Main responsibilities
Installation and Equipment
- Assist in installation, relocation, and replacement of equipment as per work instructions.
- Support commissioning and testing of new equipment; ensure proper documentation.
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
- Execute and lead preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for all equipment.
- Perform inspections and adjustments to identify potential issues; escalate major problems to supervisor.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Access work in an emergency case by on call.
Spare part and Inventory
- Monitor spare parts stock and initiate replenishment requests for critical items.
- Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of inventory records in Stock list.
Documentation and Compliance
- Collect file, keep updated and maintain all maintenance records, service report from vendor
- Maintain and update technical documentation (equipment history, drawings, P&IDs).
- Ensure compliance with EHS rules, ISO standards, and Responsible Care requirements during all activities.
Project Support
- Coordinate small-scale plant improvement or modification projects. Control projects to meet construction safety, quality, budget, and time frame.
- Prepare technical specifications and liaise with vendors under guidance from supervisor.
- Coordinate with purchasing department to negotiate with supplier/contractor and clarify scope of work for project.
- Follow up the project result after establishing to ensure all project will be performed with requirements. Set up training program of all new equipment for user.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR) and propose improvements.
- Support implementation of predictive maintenance technologies and energy-saving initiatives.
Safety and Quality
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis and lead safety checks during maintenance activities.
- Ensure quality standards for repair and maintenance work.
- Comply to all EHS rules/ regulations and RC requirement, ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949 and ISO45001.
Mentoring and Team Support
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Share best practices and assist in training programs for new equipment or systems.
SCADA / WinCC System Experience
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Siemens WinCC system, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic scripting for automation interfaces.
- Support integration of WinCC with plant equipment, ensuring reliable data acquisition and visualization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineer, or any related technical field.
- At least 2 years of direct maintenance experience in manufacturing or chemical industries.
- Understanding of chemical production or manufacturing.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
