We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Coatings team in Windsor Ontario.

BASF’s Coatings division is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings, decorative paints as well as applied surface treatments for metal, plastic and glass substrates in a wide range of industries. This portfolio is supplemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enable new applications with innovative surfaces.
As a Project Engineer, you will act as Project Manager for site capital and improvement projects and oversee Engineering projects from conception through commissioning to closeout.

- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Coordinating engineering design, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing and handover activities.
- Applying technical expertise to support design, installation, and maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, permits and safety protocols in all activities.
- Managing cost expenses, implementing cost-saving initiatives and collaborating with procurement teams to select appropriate equipment and vendors.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure clear communication and teamwork.
- Identifying opportunities and providing scope for site optimization, efficiency enhancement, cost reduction and technological advancement
If you have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management discipline
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, safety regulations, codes, acts, RAGAGEP, etc.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools. SAP experience is beneficial.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.

Pay Transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
