Objectives of the Position
Drive and develop operational design and assuring quality business services through integrated import export and custom operations in Asia Pacific
• Deliver sustainable process solution, ensuring roles & responsibilities are clear and adhered by import export and customs operations teams in Asia Pacific
• Establish quality checkpoints to ensure high level of operational discipline in sustaining process / guideline adherence, and monitoring of service performance

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
• Develop and deliver process solution on supply chain processes involving import export, customs, including but not limited to, alignment of roles & responsibility with various interfaces/stakeholders, handover point, and where possible automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processing errors
• Support import export and customs tactical service development per annual structural plan and/or per business requirement and compliance
• Develop import export and customs management concept which involves integrated platform with transparency on performance and gaps. Support head of overseas delivery services and customs Asia Pac in sustaining high level of operational discipline from team through accurate, logical and transparent information
• Lead initiatives to improve automation rate of existing manual processes covering transactional, productivity tracker, risk compliance (approvals, inter-unit transaction handling…), service allocation, etc..
• For senior projects, M&A, service demand change (i.e. embedding/new service,…), responsible to lead effective change implementation for import export and customs
• Support LLP / 3PL tender project plan and content – ensuring OVM’s consistency in country roll out and standard of operational onboarding and implementation
• Collaborate with supply chain excellence and SCNC on process and automation requirement-to-deliverable as per aligned business needs of import export and customs
• Ensure adequate, updated and consistent knowledge management maintenance, and disciplined management reviews are implemented in all locations within Asia Pacific

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Major/minor in business field, e.g. Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, engineering, international trade preferred

Working Experience

• 8-10 years in supply chain / management roles, with expertise in process improvement and quality management
• Project management and audit management

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• High proficiency in SAP (SD, TM, MM)
• Expert knowledge of supply chain processes, enterprise structure, master data
• Proficient in English, good communication skills for international stakeholder engagement.
• Strong negotiation skills and communication skills on requirements and process, will be added advantage
