Objectives of the Position
- Responsible for co-ordination and planning the local distribution and warehouse.
- Responsible for SAP Transport management and creation.
- Ensure maintain supply chain functions standards accordance to all local regulatory compliance and Corporate Functions' requirements.
Core Task
- To perform Hub Domestic Delivery services according to process and business continuity.
- Manage day to day transport management surface (local order & cross border deliveries) and warehouse operation, to ensure completion of the order fulfillment process.
- Perform and follow up delivery operations to ensure meet operational KPI (trucking booking, Transport Management update, on-time delivery, delivery reliability, Post Goods Issue/Goods Received on time etc.)
- Collaborate with relevant party like etc. customer service, import/export, plant, business units, forwarders, transporters on daily
- Transport Management Surface Perform inventory goods received (GR), post goods issue (PGI) in the system
- Coordinate and follow up with relevant service providers on operational matters
- Preparing monthly report (Non-conformance report, Transport Management report, stock report and etc.)
- Participate yearly inventory stock count, to update the inventory discrepancies in system
- Ensure that Logistics operations are according to local regulatory and BASF's safety & Transport Distribution safety and environment guideline.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree holder in logistics, supply chain or related discipline.
- Good capability in written and verbal English and Bahasa Malaysia;
- Have intercultural competence, communication and language skills; Proactive and solution orientated;
- Have issue handling skills; Skillful in software of excel, word and PowerPoint;
- Experience in SAP preferred.
