About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Global Strategy & Market Intelligence, Dispersions & Resins, you will:

  • Create value & impact for ED with market intelligence and derived strategic analysis
  • Deliver clear market intelligence insights, unbiased assessments, and actionable recommendations to support decisionmaking for ED Strategy and ED business units
  • Deep understanding of strategically relevant markets, value chains, competitive dynamics, and key industry developments
  • Support strategic projects & initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including ED Business Units and Functions (global and regional), other Operating Divisions and Corporate Units

How You Will Do It

  • Drive & own ED’s Global Market Intelligence activities
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence and develop strategic options
  • Engage closely within the team with Strategy Managers to support strategic initiatives including M&A
  • Partner with ED’s Business Units around the globe and support with profound market intelligence
  • Contribute to the annual corporate strategic reporting
  • Support corporate projects and initiatives on behalf of ED
  • Drive progress in automation and continuous improvement of Market Intelligence tools and dashboards

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's in Business Administration, Economics, Chemistry
  • Min 3-5years of solid experiences in business management (sales/marketing/product management), strategy or market intelligence with proven leadership experiences
  • Strong competence in project management; responsible, open and entrepreneurial
  • Strong competence in strategic and analytic thinking and communication
  • Strong command of English and proficiency in at least one Asian language is preferred
