Main responsibilities
- Sustainably achieve sales targets encompassing ccM1, volume & sales, costs, working capital and other business targets such as delivery reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Business analysis of sub-regional distributor accounts growth strategy with local account managers, plans and actions items.
- Coordinate collection of market information by developing an in-depth understanding of market needs and target customers in each country in collaboration with local marketing colleagues
- Influence decision-makers in a complex environment within and outside BASF at all levels, and drive actions/decisions even without disciplinary responsibility.
- Provide accurate sales forecast, supporting efficient planning of products and services.
- Be accountable and responsible for pricing execution and financials for the assigned accounts.
- Execute sales and marketing plans at the targeted customers with alignment to market development team.
- Actively collaborate with Market development team for the promotion and customer projects.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and other colleagues to ensure effective business forecast, payment terms, receivables and credit risk management, appropriate use of Inco terms and achieve all working capital targets.
- Handle and collaborate with other parties to response customer enquiries in all dimensions such as document, regulatory, agreement and quality issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master Degree in Science and/or Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in cosmetic ingredient industry.
- A strong comprehension of the personal care industry.
- Proficiency in English, both in verbal and written communication.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and influence individuals at all levels.
