Main responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities comply with BASF’s requirements of EHSQ and compliance.
  • Implement Global Key Account strategy. Plan and execute comprehensive market and customer strategies, including business concepts and tailored key account plans based on market intelligence, covering investment needs such as Capex, laboratory setup, and technical service support.
  • Meet sales targets on market share and contribution margin2 (CM2) for assigned account(s).
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned account(s), ensuring effective communication of customer requirements and overseeing complaint resolution.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales and order-to-cash process, including rolling forecast (including imports and local production), planning, invoicing, accounts receivable, overdue management and inventory control to ensure forecast accuracy and timely collections.
  • Lead customer negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and bidding processes, to support business development and secure cooperation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead customer project realization, and facilitate product approvals aligned with budget and customer requirements.
  • Drive and implement digital tools and optimization initiatives, including PADIA, to enhance business processes.
  • Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction by leading onsite technical service teams and initiatives focused on quality, cost, and service improvements
  • Share customer insights and market intelligence with Global Key Account Management (GKAM) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Supervise technical service team to ensure effective delivery of products and services at customer sites. Responsible for product and service portfolios for the assigned accounts.
  • Manage team performance, development, and foster a culture aligned with company culture
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor, consistent with the scope and purpose of the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business management or chemical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in key account and project management, ideally within coatings or automotive sectors.
  • Preferably possesses commercial and technical expertise in coatings.
  • Fluent in Thai, English and possess Japanese speaking capability.
