WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

• In your new role, you will be responsible for the effective management of credit risks across the organization, ensuring a globally harmonized and transparent credit risk framework.
• You will support both strategic and operational decision-making by conducting high-quality assessments, monitoring exposures, and maintaining robust risk-mitigation processes.
• Your responsibilities include ensuring effective customer credit risk management based on globally harmonized processes, standards, and methodologies, as well as performing comprehensive assessments of banks and other financial institutions, including global monitoring and the allocation of credit limits.
• Additionally, you conduct leasing assessments and support the negotiation and administration of leasing agreements, while also managing global guarantee structures such as corporate guarantees, business-related guarantees, and trade finance instruments.
• You monitor risk exposures, identify concentration risks, and develop measures to mitigate potential credit risks. Ensuring compliance with internal risk governance, regulatory requirements, and audit standards will also be an essential part of your role.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• completed degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable qualification
• several years of professional experience in credit risk management, corporate finance, treasury, or a related field, ideally in an international environment
• strong analytical capabilities and deep understanding of credit risk assessment, financial statement analysis, rating methods, and risk mitigation instruments
• experience with credit risk models, limit frameworks, and credit risk reporting
• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
• high degree of personal responsibility, a structured working style, and strong problem‑solving skills
• ability to work independently while actively contributing to international and cross‑functional teams
• excellent English skills, both written and spoken
