Join our team as our Performance Partnership Discovery & Delivery Director. You will have the opportunity lead a team of highly skilled consultants focused on optimizing customer organizational performance. You and the team will achieve this by the implementation of projects that track directly back to our customer’s profit and loss (P&L) statement or operating report. The team will be responsible for the efficiency of client business processes by ensuring continuous, sustained improvement across the health system enterprise, achieved through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies.
This position will be FULLY REMOTE.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Set and create an overall Discovery & Delivery strategy as part of a pre-sale conversation including Statement of Work documents, for specific customers. Work with PP Principal to create a roadmap for deployment of strategy through tactical planning and execution.
- Directs activities of Discovery Consultants and Delivery Managers within a customer engagement. Leads the overall project management of all discovery and delivery projects to ensure they are scoped correctly and ensure we can execute within the timeframe necessary.
- Identify gaps in current project milestone deliverables and develop / implement innovative methods to close gaps to be able to provide desired results on time. Facilitate course corrections to hit milestones for cost savings sign-off by customer.
- Lead team to diagnose workflow impediments and provide expert counsel on appropriate advanced strategies employing DBS Tools to eliminate waste. Develop solutions which meet planning schedules and quality objectives of the client. Define linkages between customer strategic objectives and process improvements, using both analytical tools and consulting techniques.
- Lead team to identify additional savings opportunities within customer sites for hard cost savings not previously identified during the assessment phase and work with customer & Delivery team to achieve those savings.
- Develop and gain consensus regarding high level key performance indicators (KPIs). Use bowlers and other visual management tools to ensure sustainment. Analyze LIS data to confirm customer volumes, test menu and validation of project implementation and cost savings results.
- Work with PP Client Engagement Executive to establish a joint cadence of process governance in order to achieve sign off from customer partners when goals have been achieved and projects are complete.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- The ideal candidate will have lab operations, project management, and/or consultancy experience in an integrated delivery network health care system environment (Laboratory); leading project implementation with the customer of large-scale hard cost saving, process improvement and change management projects.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably within business or sciences), master’s degree preferred.
- Prefer 20 years' experience, with preference for at least 10 years in healthcare operations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to conduct executive level engagements clearly, concisely and accurately.
- Travel 50%-75% of the time.

The base salary range for this role is $215,000-$230,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
