The Accounting Senior Analyst - Inventory Accounting for Cytiva is responsible for preparing certain global inventory accounting entries & analysis, primarily related to Capitalized Manufacturing variances.
This position is part of the global Inventory Process Controllership COE team and will be a onsite role in our Budapest office. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Prepare the global Capitalized Manufacturing Variances (CapV) US GAAP accounting & analysis
Prepare the ongoing CapV forecasts for the year (updated monthly) & then prepare/record the CapV quarterly General Ledger entries
Collaborate Plant Controllers & Business Finance leaders for the CapV process
Help implement process improvement and automation. Help Implement global standard work to ensure forecasting accuracy and link CapV movements to underlying business/site performance
Prepare inventory account reconciliations
Participate in global Sarbanes-Oxley testing of inventory processes
Who you are:
Studies in economics with focus on finance and accounting or equivalent
First experience in an accounting/finance positions
Knowledge & experience of inventory accounting
Previously worked in a global business environment with experience of global processes & transactional flows
Proficient in Excel and in ERP usage (for example Oracle, SAP)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong analytical skills: able to analyze large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers, link financial results to operational performance and distil them into insightful analysis
BI tools, for example QlikSense, OneStream
