The Field Service Associate/Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for meeting regular service repair needs of our customers and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.

This position is part of the Equipment Services team located in Vancouver, Canada and will be remote in lower mainland. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you’ll do:

  • Troubleshooting, installation, training, preventive maintenance and repair needs on designated technical equipment.
  • Ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory, customer service reports and internal service records as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with customers to ensure resolution and accurate follow through driving customer satisfaction, partnering with stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Maintaining tools and testing equipment ensuring care and accurate calibration.
  • Leading service delivery processes in compliance with local EHS standards, regulatory requirements and company policies. Participating in service & instrument sales opportunities to promote business growth.

Who you are:

  • Post secondary education in appropriate STEM field i.e. Biomedical, electro/mechanical, etc. Relevant experience diagnosing and repairing complex technical equipment.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule i.e rotating on-call work including weekends for critical issues and coverage if needed.
  • Canadian passport holder/ Canadian Permanent Resident

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 50 % travel, overnight, within territory includes Canadian wide
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

The salary range for this role is CAD $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and retirement planning for eligible employees.
