POSITION TITLE: Associate Finance Director
REPORTS TO: Senior Director, operation finance and Dx Finance SSC
BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position will assist the Senior Director in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, internal control procedures, and policies; managing financial risks; and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role will also oversee all financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
The Associate Finance Director will work closely with the factory management team to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making to ensure the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
Financial Reporting and Financial Planning:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Develop financial forecasts and variance analyses.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the factory.
- Monitor budget performance and identify areas for cost control and improvement.
Cost Management:
- Analyze production costs and develop strategies to reduce cost.
- Monitor and control operating expenses and capital expenditures.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and track their effectiveness, provide the direction for improvement.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to detect and prevent fraud.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Engage with Danaher internal audit, regional general counsel, corporate tax, to identify risks, and collaboratively develop action plans to address risks or opportunities. Take the lead, where appropriate, to resolve issues and drive action in a timely manner.
- Laise with local tax authorities etc. to ensure compliance with cross functional team under the support of DHR China.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance teams.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Partnerships:
- Structure financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business development.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the factory management team.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to align financial objectives and Key KPIs.

Support Dx platform C4C operation Finance.
- Develop and consolidate operational finance analysis and key KPI
- Ad hoc analysis and model structuring per business needs

Internal contacts include all staff in company.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for his/her own work. Only new work is reviewed before issue, all other work is handled independently, reporting status to managers/supervisor. Some work requires analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment, but most assignments are specific and well defined.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: This position requires BA or BS and degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and Qualified CPA or equivalent, MBA is preferable.
LANGUAGE: Demonstrates excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively interact and engage with local communities.
COMPUTER: Good understanding of ERP systems and be familiar with Oracle and EPM is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: More than 10 years working experience in multinational company with at least 5 years in Manufacturing finance leadership role, experience in costing and FP&A hands on experience is a must. CPA or ACCA is a strong plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position may require business traveling.
