We are currently seeking a Clinical Flow Cytometry Product Manager, Japan who will be responsible for building and leading market strategy in Japan. This position is part of the Marketing Japan located in Tokyo, Japan and will be remote.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy and initiatives of Clinical Flow Cytometry Products in Japan that result in increasing share, sales and profit growth
Create and execute launch plans for new products to ensure rapid sales growth and collaborate closely with global teams to effectively introduce and deploy global strategies domestically, obtaining necessary support for the local team and customers.
Maximize lead generation using traditional and digital marketing methods in cooperation with commercial marketing, and create promotional content that clearly communicates the product's value proposition to customers.
Lead the application for local registration of IVD and Medical device working with RA team.
Optimize and implement product and application training for sales representatives to improve skill and knowledge for sales activities.
Support local teams and customers on local product quality, supply and other type of issues and inquiries in sales process with collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
Build and manage KOL network in the clinical flow cytometry field
Partner effectively with key stakeholders in sales, commercial marketing, field application, service, QRA, Logistics, Business units and global marketing.
The essential requirements for the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in biology, medical science, pharmacy or related discipline is required. Master’s Degree and phD preferred.
3+ years of experience in product management for medical device or IVD products
Experienced in marketing and market development
Data analytical capability. SFDC experience is preferred.
Experienced in customer relation building with good knowledge in the industry and interpersonal skills
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Up to 30% travel will be required
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
MBA
Experiences in hematological testing field or industry

Planning
- Marketing Planの作成と実行により、担当製品群のビジネス目標達成をリードする。
- 市場分析(市場規模、シェア、Revenue Trend、顧客ニーズ、競合Action分析)MEKKO/Water Fall Chartなど
- 自社活動分析(売上、価格、Win Rate, Visibilityなど)
- と戦略(Target Market, 4P)
-Financial Objectives(HW/Cons売上、Expense, P&L, 在庫)
-Action Plans incl. Action Calendar
- Launch Planの作成と実行により、新製品の売上の急速な立ち上げを効率的・効果的に行う。
- Global Teamとの緻密なコミュニケーションにより、Global戦略の効果的な国内導入・展開を行うとともに、国内市場に必要なサポートを得る。
Communication
- Traditional/Digital Marketing手法を活用し、Commercial Marketingと協力してLead構築を最大化する。
- 製品のValue Propositionを顧客にわかる言葉で伝えられるPromotional Toolのコンテンツ作成を行う。
- 必要に応じて、営業・サービス担当者と同行を行い、製品説明を行う事で、製品採用へのサポートを行う。
- 国内のKOLを特定し、効果的なKOLマネジメントを行う。
- 目標達成に向け、他のチームとの協働を製品責任者としてリードする(Sales、アプリ、サービス、RA/QA、L&D、法務、ITなど)
- Direct/ Indirect ChannelのRecommendationを作成し、担当部署への提案を行う。
Sales Training
- グローバルで展開される営業担当者向け製品・アプリケーション・営業スキルトレーニングを最適化し、展開する。
- 国内マーケットに必要なセールス向けトレーニング、ツールを作成、展開する。
- 営業担当者による代理店向けトレーニング資料を作成、実施をサポートする。
製品のマネジメント
- 中長期Product Roadmapの作成および、市場予測、マーケットシェア、自社製品の販売予測を行う。
- ERPやCRMなどの製品マスターのメンテナンスを行う。
- 担当製品群のライフサイクルのマネジメントを行う(新製品導入プラン、製品販売中止プランの作成と実行をリード)
- 製品クレームが発生した際、関連部署との協働によりしかるべき対処を行う。
- 製品戦略にリンクした価格設定を行い、平均販売価格(ASP)のモニタリングおよび必要な対応を講じる。
- 顧客の要望(VOC)をベースに、顧客ニーズを製品に反映させるべくGlobalチームへの要望を出す。
- 医療機器・体外診断薬の申請を薬事チームと連携して行う。
Financial
- 担当製品群のP&Lマネジメントを行う。
- 製品別Rolling Forecastの作成による適正在庫の管理を行う事で、在庫負担を低減する。
- FC01-FC12により、年間のSales estimationを算出・管理し、Globalへの報告をサポートする。
Required Skills 求められるスキル
- 医療機器・体外診断薬のプロダクトマネージメント職務経験3年以上、またはそれに準ずる経験
- 血液関連疾患検査関連の業務経験 歓迎
- ビジネス英語 中級以上(会話、ライティング) TOEIC 750点以上
- パソコンスキル(MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- プロジェクトマネジメントスキル
- KOLマネジメント スキル 歓迎
- 生物学/医学/薬学/医療系修士号以上が望ましい
- MBAホルダー歓迎
