  The QC Team Leader for Cytiva is responsible for driving performance, compliance, and improvement within the department.

  This position is part of the Quality Control located in Cardiff and will be based on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

  What you will do:

• Provide leadership within the QC department and to its associates – managing performance and being the initial point of contact for the QC function.
• Develop and implement strategies that facilitate departmental improvements and support introduction of new products. Establish, trend, analyse, and report relevant KPIs to measure performance.
• Be the QC subject matter expert for audits, nonconformities, root-cause analyses, CAPAs, change controls, and documentation. Manage and disposition nonconforming products and materials.

• Who you are:

• Educated in an analytical/scientific field, degree preferred.
• Have significant team leadership/people supervision experience in a quality function, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Have a good understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems within a manufacturing setting.

• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Providing SME input during audits and regulatory inspections. Experience performing internal audits is an added plus.
• Application of appropriate statistical sampling levels according to ISO 2859.
• Working with minimal supervision, using own initiative, prioritising departmental work as appropriate whilst maintaining a cross-functional team approach.
• Authoring of technically sound reports and procedures, and delivery of data/presentations to wider teams.
