We are currently seeking a Product Owner who will be responsible for leading product development initiatives, driving product strategy, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
This is an onside based position, which may require travel to the office or customer sites dependent on business needs.
What we’ll get you doing:
- Gathering, managing and interpreting data through informal and formal mechanisms to lead the delivery of high-quality software products and proof of concepts based on company priorities.
- Inspiring and motivating teams with a clear vision of customer problems and product goals.
- Presenting the functionality and benefit of the software products. This includes ensuring that customer facing parts of the business have the details they need around the software products to ensure that successful outcomes are achieved. To do this the Product Owner will be expected to actively communicate with all parts of the IDBS business and customers.
- Collect and integrate customer and stakeholder feedback to define and maintain product roadmaps.
- Collaborate effectively across teams, fostering a culture of accountability, using Danaher Business System tools to drive continuous improvement and standardization.
- Building professional relationships based on trust, accountability and business acumen, alongside acting as the “voice of the customer” when liaising and presenting during internal agile project meetings.
Here is what success in this role looks like:
- Multiple years of experience in a similar role, preferably within scientific software or life sciences sectors.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, AHA!) and knowledge of 3rd party applications (relevant to business areas)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong understanding of the market and competition.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Competent in obtaining requirements using interviews, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Application of common industry compliance and quality standards (GLP, GMP, 21CFRPart11) in software products.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- IDBS Platform, or similar products
