The Service Supply Chain Buyer & Planner at Cytiva plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless collaboration across internal stakeholders to meet — and exceed — delivery expectations for both internal and external customers. This role is key to driving operational excellence by enhancing inventory turnover and ensuring timely material availability. You’ll be directly responsible for reviewing demand and procuring materials into finished goods warehouses.

This position is part of the Global Service Delivery team. As an on-site associate in Uppsala or Umeå, Sweden, the Service Supply Chain Buyer & Planner reports to the Director, Global Service Supply Chain and Logistics.

What you will do:

  • Evaluate and recommend finished goods sizing parameters in alignment with the Danaher Materials System (DMS)
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to close performance gaps and improve key KPIs
  • Place and manage purchase orders with suppliers, using Daily Management to resolve both immediate and systemic supply issues

Who you are:

  • Leader of the Danaher continuous-improvement culture (DBS). Role model accustomed to effectively driving continuous change while leveraging DMS and DBS fundamentals
  • Results-driven and passionate about excellence, with a strong focus on team engagement and performance
  • Educated to university level in Supply Chain, Materials, Logistics, or a related field
  • An exceptional communicator, fluent in both written and spoken English

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Tools such as SFDC, Demantra, Oracle, SAP, or Magic, and a deep understanding of post-factory inventory sizing and transactions
  • Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — honest, respectful, and professional, with a track record of building trust and cross-functional relationships
